Dog Policy

The Olde England has always welcomed our 4 legged friends along to enjoy the pub with their human companions.

We ask you kindly to abide by some simple rules to ensure the pub remains a safe and friendly environment for all visitors, 4 legged and 2 legged alike!

Please ensure your dog is well-behaved when in the pub.
Dogs are permitted on the ground floor and in the basement.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Dogs must be kept away from the main thoroughfare of the pub.
Dogs must not cause an obsruction to other customers or staff going about their business.
We have water bowls available, please ask at the bar.
The Racecourse Park nearby is ideal to take your companion for a short walk to ensure they don't get bored, or to do their business.

We are a small pub with a small footprint. We ask for your cooperation to ensure a safe environment for all customers and their animal companions.
