Fireworks Spectacular on the Racecourse

Saturday 1st November 2025 sees the Northampton Town Council event - 'Light Up the Sky' Fireworks Spectacular take place on the Racecourse. Here are a few important pieces of information we think our customers and local residents should be aware of.
The Racecourse car park will be closed to the general public, with limited spaces available for accessible parking.
There is NO parking on site. The organisers advise using public transport where possible, and parking in the Town Centre car parks
The residential streets nearby are already under significant parking pressure.

We will be open from 3pm until Midnight, and serving food from 4pm - 8pm
(Hotdogs / Vegan hotdogs and fries to eat in or take away) - please order and pay at the bar and collect from the kitchen.
We expect the pub to be very busy, so we kindly ask customers to bear with us. We do have extra staff on hand to help out.
The fireworks event is unlikely to be suitable for animals, and the pub will probably not be the best experience for our 4 legged friends with limited space a lot of foot traffic, so perhaps consider whether it is better not to bring your companions along on Saturday.
We hope you will enjoy the spectacle, and come and see us either before or after the event for a drink and / or snack.
